Now that Kim Kardashian has tied the knot with New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries, Millionaire Matchmaker star Patti Stanger advises she ditch L.A. and move to the East Coast. Which is exactly what she’s doing!
This week, Kim, 30, and her Prince Charming, 26, are expected to take up residence in NYC, which is precisely the right move, according to Patti.
“She can let him shine for a while,” Patti tells me while promoting Pucker Vodka. “If it’s all about her, he may to bolt.”
Why?
“If she lives in L.A. with her family in the limelight, she might have some bumps in the road. I know Kim, her family is great, I love all of them, but Kim is a workaholic, and if she’s always traveling and doing something for some appearance or some product, there’s going to be no time for him. Now granted he’s on the road and the NBA has a longer season than the NFL, but I think it will be more like ‘we’re real family now.’ I think it’ll be better for her, helpful, emotionally-wise. I’d like her to have some downtime for herself, where there is no glitz and glam, and she doesn’t have to work it.”

For Kris, having another successful basketball player in the family will be beneficial.
“I think the fact that Lamar is in the family will keep him set, because Lamar is older than him, wiser than him, makes more money, and he’s a better player,” she says. “I think Lamar can groom him to be a husband because when you look at Khloe and Lamar, Lamar calls the shots. He only wanted to buy $4 million house - he’s got his head screwed on straight in that department.”
