Since Kim Kardashian and new husband Kris Humphries moved to NYC, their differences over money have pushed their relationship to the breaking point — and Kris has been shocked by his new bride's spending. Now, Kim, 30, has lost patience with Kris, and it's the worst fight of their fledgling marriage.

"Once of the biggest issues for Kris is Kim's preoccupation with money," explains the insider. She's spent a lot of time filming Kourtney and Kim Take New York, but she's also been doing a lot of shopping! It's been a reality check for Kris."He has started to pay attention to how much she spends, and it's been a major shock," says the source. "He tired to talk to her about slowing down, but she told him it was none of his business."

As a player for the New Jersey Nets, Kris has made a nice living, but the 26-year-old power forward is currently a free agent, so anything can happen this season.
"He makes great money, but it's not close to the amount Kim earns or is used to spending," says the insider. "There is no way she's going to tone down her lifestyle, so they have to keep making a lot of money."

Their fight over finances may be the most heated, but it hasn't been their only one. Kim's family — who mean the world to her — don't always get along with Kris. "Kourtney and Khloe aren't the fondest of him," says a family friend, adding that Kris' habit of saying exactly what he thinks can create hard feelings. "Not everyone gets his humor."
