Kris Jenner "Saved" Khloe Kardashian's X-Factor Hosting Deal

It was a big moment for the Kardashian family when Khloé scored a plum gig hosting X-Factor this week opposite none other than seasoned entertainment reporter, Mario Lopez.

"The worst kept secret in Hollywood is out," Simon Cowell said in a statement. "Mario and Khloé are our hosts. They will debut on our first live show in November and I couldn't be happier."

However, it appears there was more going on beneath the surface than meets the eye when it game to Khloé's contract.

Apparently, there were a few network stipulations involving Khloe appearing on both the E! network (for Keeping Up With The Kardashians) and Fox, where The X-Factor is broadcast.

That being said, when you have Kris Jenner in your corner anything is possible.

"(She) stepped in over the agents ... over everyone," a source said of the meeting. "She just knows how to make sh*t happen."

Indeed. One does not become the matriarch of a multi-million dollar media empire without have a lot of chutzpah.
