Sure, she may have been in the midst of one of the summer's biggest scandals but Kristen Stewart sparkled yesterday in Toronto when she promoted her new movie, On The Road.

In fact, last night marked opening night at the Toronto International Film Festival which expects to see A-listers like Ben Affleck, Selena Gomez and Halle Berry.
After laying low out of the spotlight for a few weeks, the 22 year-old emerged on the red carpet in a floral, sequined dress. She told Reuters she was pleased to "know that everyone is here." She also indicated the support she's gotten has been "amazing."

As KStew walked the red carpet, Robert Pattinson was attending the MTV Video Music Awards to promote their latest film, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.
