To prove that anything can happen on live TV, last night was no exception on Dancing With the Stars. After Kirstie Alley lost her shoe and stayed on the floor for a short period of time, Maksim Chmerkovskiy kept waltzing away until she slipped the shoe back on her foot!

Last night's dance moves earned the duo a score of 22 which isn't too bad considering the shoe mishap — a first for the show! "You’re the queen of the unexpected mishap,” Carrie Ann Inaba said. ”But you didn't miss a beat! You looked like you were waiting for it to be over, but when you put the shoe back on you were back in it."

Kirstie later joked with reporters, "I think it's a conspiracy. I think the other girls cut my shoe!" Despite the footwear foible, she's ready to take on the dance floor again tonight! She told reporters, "All I feel like is I want to be here, I want to win! I still haven’t given that up, I want to be the best. It’s a process to be the best. You just keep going until you are the best. I can’t help but think that if we did the dance correctly we could have gotten some 9s. I really do want to be a good dancer."

Sounds like nerves may also be getting the best of Kirstie with her celeb friends in the audience. She admits, "I'm starting to get nervous! I mean I'm inviting them to see me dance, not laying on the floor putting on shoes. They can see that at my house!"
