“Born This Way” artist Lady Gaga took to Twitter just hours after the recent 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit Japan on Friday to raise awareness and funds for the relief effort. Now the artist is taking her philanthropic efforts a step farther by designing a Japanese Tsunami Relief Wristband for charity.
“I Designed a Japan Prayer Bracelet. Buy It/Donate here and ALL proceeds will go to Tsunami Relief Efforts. Go Monsters,” Lady Gaga tweeted this week of her new project.

The bracelet, which reads ‘We Pray for Japan’ and even has Gaga’s Monster paw insignia on it, will help raise money to go towards all relief efforts in Japan, according to MTV.
The massive earthquake, which hit Japan on Mar. 11, also spawned a 10 meter tsunami, devastating the region and even effecting distant parts of the Pacific Coast, as well.
