Lauren Conrad was the epitome of a multi-tasker yesterday in NYC, pulling double duty promoting two of her books at the same time! The Hills alum donned a lacy white mini dress during an appearance at a Barnes & Noble for Lauren Conrad Style and Sugar and Spice on Tuesday, and didn't seem to mind striking a pose for a good cause... her writing career!

Sugar and Spice is the third and final novel in her L.A. Candy series, and Lauren Conrad Style is well, a guide to her style!

LC told MTV news that her approaches to each tome was unique.
"The two books, as far as the writing process, were very, very different," she told MTV News. "When you're writing a novel, it's you and a computer. And with the style book, it was a five-day photo shoot. It was a lot of fashion polls, a lot of research."
