LeAnn Rimes Opens Up About Treatment Center Stint: "I'd Never Taken a Break For Myself"

Fresh off her 30-day treatment in a center for stress and anxiety, LeAnn Rimes is opening up to Katie Couric in a new interview.

LeAnn tells Katie about how fame early in her life has impacted her as an adult. According to RadarOnline, she dished, “I was this big voice, this little girl that no one really knew much about. I couldn’t really grow up even understanding who it was that I was.”  

It sounds like checking into the center one day after she turned 30 was truly the start of a new chapter! “I feel like I’m starting over even though I’ve had all these years behind me. How many people get to start over again in this day in age?"

She added, “I’d never taken a break for myself, to examine myself and to just learn who I am outside of LeAnn Rimes for 30 years.” As for learning who she is, other people may label her or not truly understand where the pain stems from.

She sobbed, “People look at you and go, ‘Why are you struggling?’ No one can quite understand why you hurt so badly."

LeAnn's interview will air on Katie tomorrow, October 25.
