Lindsay Lohan Pulls Plug on '20/20' Interview With Barbara Walters

This just in...although Lindsay Lohan was scheduled to be interviewed by Barbara Walters on 20/20, she has officially put the kabosh on it.

According to Deadline, she decided not to appear in the sit-down. It appears her new PR team wasn't thrilled with the direction ABC wanted to take the Q&A.

Actually, the primetime interview was going to promote Lindsay's new film, Liz & Dick, which premieres on Lifetime on November 25.

Barbara already did some background work and visited the set during production and the actress showed some behind-the-scenes action and did some interviews at the time.

Maybe her publicists are onto something since she's been making headlines for allegedly not telling the truth to cops over her car crash this past summer.

After her former publicist, Steve Honig, walked away late last month, the star needed a new PR team. At the time Steve told E! News he wasn't going to reveal why exactly he chose to walk away: "I'm not discussing this out of respect for my client."
