New rule: If your significant other keeps a diary, don’t read it! Ever. Just ask Teen Mom’s Kyle King. The Coca-Cola merchandiser thought girlfriend Maci Bookout was head over heels for him, with marriage and babies to follow; after all, as recently as Memorial Day, Maci Tweeted, “I love my perrrrrfeeeect lover, @kyleking100.” But that was before he picked up her diary, OK! reports in this week's issue.

Maci left her diary on a table in their Murfreesboro, Tenn., apartment. Kyle couldn’t resist opening it and learned, to his horror, that Maci’s hormones are still racing for her ex Ryan Edwards, the diesel-mechanic baby daddy to her 2-year-old son, Bentley.
“Maci wrote that she’ll always love Ryan and that she really misses him,” a source close to the former couple tells OK!. “And how they’ve got great sexual chemistry.”

The discovery was enough to make Kyle bawl — and bail.
“When he told Maci he’d read the diary, he was sort of crying,” the source says. “Maci tried to explain it, but it didn’t seem to matter. He left the apartment and they haven’t talked in, like, a week.”

For Maci’s part, she was furious that Kyle intruded on her private musings. She’s a devoted diarist, recording thoughts, emotions, poems and inspirational passages.
“She told Kyle that it’s just words, that she’s with him now,” another insider tells OK!. “It’s not like Maci wrote, ‘I want to marry Ryan and have more kids with him.’ It was more that a part of her will always love Ryan. Ryan’s the father of her son and whenever she looks at Bentley, he’s a part of Ryan, too.”
