
Madonna Booed at Concert for Telling Audience to Vote for Barack Obama

Madonna got political during her New Orleans concert on Saturday, and her fans didn't like it.

"Who's registered to vote?" Madge asked the crowd. If only she'd stopped there — usually, encouraging people to vote is a well-received effort. But she continued: "I don't care who you vote for, as long as you vote for Obama."
When people began to boo and leave, Madonna changed her tune saying, "Seriously, I don't care who you vote for... do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote."
