Madonna Shares Her Thoughts on Troubled Starlets

Last night at the launch of her "Material Girl" line at Macy's, Madonna answered what everyone's been thinking, what would her advice be to young troubled starlets such as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan?

Madonna told reporters, "I can’t comment on other people’s parenting but it does require a lot of time and effort and paying attention."

Madonna, who was accompanied by daughter Lourdes Léon, looked fantastic in an Alexander McQueen dress with Material Girl accessories.

When asked how Madonna was doing as a parent, Lourdes (also clad in Material Girl) said, "I think she's doing a really great job." This prompted Madonna to joke, "She's so diplomatic."

Although she wanted the topics of discussion to remain on her clothing line and working with her daughter, the recent arrest of a stalker was in the forefront of everyone's mind.
