Marc Anthony Lands TV Role

Look out, Jennifer Lopez! Although she's on the hit show American Idol, looks like hubby Marc Anthony is following her footsteps in pursuing a TV gig. He will be joining the cast of TNT's Hawthorne.

According to The Huffington Post, the Grammy winner will become a cast regular and will play Detective Nick Renata. He's already played the role in two episodes last season. The drama also stars Jada Pinkett Smith in the leading role as Christina Hawthorne. She plays a hospital's chief nursing officer. The series will begin its third season this June.
