Mariah Carey is in the doghouse with a veterinarian who says the diva owes her nearly $30,000 in unpaid bills for three of her prized pooches.
High-end vet Cindy Bressler — who writes on her website that she works for “prominent New Yorkers and celebrity clients — sued Mariah yesterday in a Manhattan state court, reports the Associated Press.
She claimed she provided “extraordinary services” for the singer’s Jack Russell terriers — ChaCha, Dolomite and JJ — but Mariah only paid $8,200 of the roughly $37,800 in charges, the lawsuit says. The bills cover a little more than a month of care.
Mariah has regularly chronicles her dogs’ activities on her Twitter feed, from ChaCha urinating on her dressing room floor and jumping on her last September, to Dolomite stealing her underwear out of a suitcase while she was vacationing in March.
Meanwhile, the music mogul and husband Nick Cannon recently welcomed a new addition to their four-legged family — a puppy, named Jackie Lambchops, born to ChaCha this month.
