It's hard to imagine anyone other than Olivia Newton-John wearing Sandy's black spandex pants in the 1978 smash hit movie, Grease. But, if the musical hadn't been so racy, Marie Osmond might have been telling John Travolta that she was hopelessly devoted.
“Initially the script came to me, and the script was much edgier then what Olivia came up with," she told Fox News.
"But I was at a place in my life where I wanted to have children and I didn’t like the fact that the girl had to turn bad to get the guy. I think the guy has to work hard to get the girl, that’s what I believe.”

In fact, Marie takes a feminist stance against the musical. “I don’t think we’re the ones that need to change," she says of Sandy's transformation from clean-cut good-girl to sexy vamp.
Meanwhile, Marie, 50, gave her brother Donny Osmond, 51, some key advice ahead of his Dancing with the Stars win last night.
"This is what I told him," she said."‘Donny, I would really love you to win it. You’re older than me, you’re a grandpa, but the girls dance harder.’"
