Mario Lopez: Not Settling Down
Sept. 15 2008, Published 3:15 p.m. ET
Mario Lopez is a busy man these days – not only did he just finish a stint on Broadway in A Chorus Line, but he's reprising his role as Dr. Mike Hamoui on Nip/Tuck and hosting MTV's new show Top Pop Group. Add in his hosting duties on Extra as the entertainment show starts its 15th season tonight and you've got a more than full plate.
So does he find time to have a social life outside work?
"That’s about the only thing, is that it does throw a bit of a monkeywrench in your social life," Mario tells OK! of his busy schedule. "But I just love what I do and I’m blessed to be as busy as I am. And my friends and my family are always there, they’re constant."
As for his love life, sorry ladies! Mario says he's not focusing on settling down at the moment, unless you count his hosting gig.
"My special girlfriend at the moment is Extra right now," he jokes. "She’s beautiful and I have a feeling we’re going to be in a long-term relationship."
As for that famous best friend of his and the baby rumors swirling around her, Eva Longoria Parker stopped by the Extra set for tonight's premiere.

“You would know if I were pregnant and no, I’m not," she tells Mario. "We can’t wait to start a family and I’m so excited about that chapter in our lives, but I’m just not now.”
She adds laughing, “It’s funny because they’re media like, “Oh, Eva is wearing baggy clothes’ and it’s not like I dressed like a hoochy mama before.”
