Martina Navratilova Leaves 'Dancing With the Stars'

Since Dancing With the Stars is in full swing, this means only one thing: Elminations have officially begun!

Martina Navratilova and her partner Tony Dovolani said adios last night from the dancing competition. Martina told E! News, "I'm devastated for Tony because he put in so much hard work. He hasn't had great partners in the past. He wanted an athlete, he got an athlete, but an athlete blew it yesterday. We couldn't make up with the popular vote for the judging yesterday."
Actually, Tony had the same sentiments and respect for his partner. "I wanted America to get to know Martina," he said. "I'm just devastated that I couldn't do that for her."

Sounds like Martina thought they had a shot at staying on board with the popular vote, but then she added, "I guess we were too far behind. I don't know. I thought we had a shot at it."

Although they'll no longer be competing for the disco ball trophy, Martina wants to continue dancing and repay her partner with — what else — tennis lessons!
"I will have to give him some tennis lessons now. I have to pay back!"
