Mary-Kate Chose Private 'Dark Knight' Screening

She was a no-show at the July 15 premiere of The Dark Knight in New York City.
But Mary-Kate Olsen chose to remember her friend Heath Ledger in private by slipping into her local movie theater on July 24 for a lone viewing of the record-breaking movie.
Dressed entirely in black, wearing sunglasses and sipping her customary Starbucks drink, Mary-Kate, 22, caught the 7:30 p.m. show in the Battery Park area of the city.

She finally saw Heath’s finest performance, filmed before he died of an accidental overdose on January 22 at age 28.
“She was keeping to herself,” an onlooker tells OK!. “She shut off her phone before entering the theater and seemed somber.”
