We didn't expect a dignified affair like last night's Museum Dance at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC would be a gossip-worthy kind of event — but we just couldn't help asking Gossip Girl's Matthew Settle about the breakups amongst his young co-stars on set!

Stars such as Claire Danes, Emmy Rossum, Michelle Trachtenberg, Sebastian Stan, Ivanka Trump enjoyed a night at the museum, no pun intended.

A recently single Sebastian showed up to the event, where some of his Gossip Girl co-stars were also in attendance.

"I don't know I haven't seen them because we've been off work," Matthew told OK! of the recent breakups between Sebastian and Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr. "They're all well-adjusted kids, they'll handle things fine."

But, it doesn't sound like he'd be too surprised if they're is some rekindling going on when they're all back to work on set.

"Yea, you never know," he told OK!. "People are human beings so anything can happen."
