Mel Gibson has been dropped by his talent agency in a move that, industry insiders believe, is linked to the increasingly nasty custody battle between the director and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
William Morris Endeavor Entertainment has let Mel go, reports E! Online, admid accusations of domestic violence and the release of a recording in which Mel unleashed a profane tirade at the mother of his youngest daughter, Lucia.

William Morris, which counted Gibson as a client for years, merged with Endeavor Talent last year. Then the Oscar winner's longtime agent, Ed Limato, died July 3.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, which first learned of the business breakup, WME's Patrick Whitesell informed the actor-director's camp earlier this week that the agency would no longer be providing its services to Gibson.
