While speaking at a Wednesday afternoon press conference for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Michael Douglas spoke about his battle with cancer. Michael told reporters, "I'm very proud of the picture. My doctors are optimistic, I'm optimistic!"
"Life goes on. It's just another chapter," the Oscar-winning actor added.
He joked around by saying he didn't have to do the junket earlier while his co-stars Susan Sarandon and Josh Brolin, along with director, Oliver Stone did!
He also joked about what is getting him through this tough time: Sports!
"Couldn't have picked a better time! Tennis has never been better," he told reporters. "College football has just started. Got a Monday night game coming up with the Jets. Sports are really good."
