Michael Kors Has Plans to Marry Partner Lance LePere 'Privately'

Michael Kors has plans to tie the knot! The designer and his partner Lance LePere will be getting married now that gay marriage is legal in New York State.

"Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together," the Project Runway judge said in a statement to OK!.

The 51-year-old designer added,"We have no plans for a major party, but we will be getting married privately."

Recent reports claim Michael and Lance were spotted at City Hall in NYC yesterday.

The couple met in 1990 when Lance was an intern at Michael's company.
