Miley Cyrus Takes Britney Comparison as a Compliment

Before there was the Britney Spears who shaved her head and attacked photographers with an umbrella, there was the Britney Spears who was the undisputed queen of the pop scene. So when Miley Cyrus gets compared to the Britster, she says she has a choice on how to take it. "I get that all the time," she told reporters at a Hannah Montana press junket on the comparison.

So does she think people are telling her she's about to go out and eat every bag of Cheetos she can lay hands on, or rule the charts?

"I try to look at everything in my life as positive. So I can either look at it and say it's negative, and look at the things she's done wrong, and say, 'How can someone compare me to her?' " Miley explained.

"Or, I could be the positive person and look at all the amazing history that she's made, and the things that she's accomplished, and I'll take it as a compliment."

It's not surprising that smiley Miley decides to see the glass as half full in this situation, reiterating, "I choose to take it as a compliment."
