Miley Looks to "Breakout" With New Disc

Listen up, everyone: There could only be one Miley Cyrus.

There's a lot of talk of up-and-coming Disney actresses Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato being the heir apparents to the Hannah Montana star, but Miley doesn't see it that way.

"People are looking up to what I do. But, I don't think there could be a next Miley," she tells Extra. "I think they should be the next Selena, Demi. Make their own way."

She certainly has done so for herself. The tween queen is bigger than ever and is set to release her new album, Breakout, tomorrow. The album, which features the single "7 Things," is a departure from her kid-friendly debut Meet Miley Cyrus.

"I wanted to embrace my older audience a little more, kind of taking shackles off and doing the music I wanted to do," she says of the disc. "There are the things I want to say to the world. I just want this to be a CD that you can let loose to and dance to and kind of forget all the crazy stuff!"

The 15-year-old needs to forget crazy stuff too, especially after her infamous Vanity Fair photo scandal, which brought more media attention on her than ever. But the singer isn't letting it get to her.

"There's going to be that no matter what," she says. "I am obviously under the public eye a lot. Instead of putting negativity to it, taking the opportunity to make it a positive thing."
