Miranda Cosgrove Suffers a Broken Ankle in Bus Accident

Miranda Cosgrove, iCarly star and pop singer, broke her ankle in a bus accident early on Thursday in Illinois.

Miranda's rep confirmed the new to MTV News saying Miranda wasn't seriously injured, but she did break her ankle in the accident.

"Miranda Cosgrove's tour bus was involved in an accident early this morning in Illinois on I-70, just outside of Vandalia," the rep said in a statement. "There were five passengers on the bus, and Miranda suffered a broken ankle. At this time, we are told everyone will be fine.

The 18-year-old was traveling from a show in Ohio to Kansas as part of her Dancing Crazy Tour.

Unfortunately for Miranda and her fans, the tour has had to be postponed.

"Because of this, her tour is postponed until further notice," the statement continued. "Miranda thanks everyone for their understanding and support."

But at least Miranda wasn't hurt more seriously.
