MJ Superfan Buys King of Pop's Las Vegas Home

Jan. 28 2010, Published 10:20 a.m. ET
A piece of Michael Jackson's property in Las Vegas has finally been sold. One of the King of Pop's superfans shelled out $3.1 for the nearly 16,000-square-foot castle in Sin City.
But the house was not yanked off the market quickly, TMZ reports. Though many MJ fans flocked to the home after the singer's death, the majority were only pretending to be potential buyers.
The King of Pop will be honored with a 3-D tribute at the Grammy Awards, based upon his hit, "Earth Song."

“There are these incredible images of the beauties of nature, and then they are seen through the eyes of a little girl. That girl falls asleep and when she wakes up, she is witness to the destruction of nature,” Ken Ehrlich, who acts as the Grammy telecast’s co-executive producer, revealed to the Associated Press about the presentation.
