Sofia Vergara is having quite a month! Not only did the Modern Family star celebrate her 40th birthday in style by flying more than 100 friends to Mexico, she got engaged and, oh, yeah, she's the top-earning woman in television!

In addition to the Emmy-winning sitcom, Sofia also has a clothing line and endorsement deals. Forbes estimates she earned $19 million during the past year alone.

Her company, Latin World Entertainment, is a media powerhouse involved in licensing, marketing, and production. An insider indicated to Forbes that revenue from last year was $27 million!
And the other TV stars to round out the top five? Kim Kardashian earned $18 million from her reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, a namesake fragrance, the Kardashian Kollection for Sears, Kardashian Khaos (a specialty store in Las Vegas), and a new DASH location.
