Moms-to-Be Jenna Elfman & Ashley Jensen Lending Each Other a Hand On-Set

In a huge case of life imitating art, Accidentally on Purpose co-stars Jenna Elfman and Ashley Jensen are both pregnant and helping each other out on the set of their new CBS sitcom.

Jenna, who stars on the new show about a woman who’s unexpectedly pregnant, just announced she’s pregnant in real life with her second child with husband Bodhi Elfman. The former Dharma and Greg star is due in March, while her co-star Ashley, who plays her friend, is just weeks away from welcoming her first child with actor husband Terence Beesley.

“It’s just great,” Ashley told OK! at the PepsiMax/CBS fall launch party at MyHouse in L.A.. “I was asking Jenna for advice on a daily basis anyway because she’s already had a child, so now, we’re going through it together. One day on set she had a little wave of nausea, and she was like, ‘I don’t feel very well,’ so I had to go up and get some little saltine crackers and pretend they were for me — because nobody else knew at the time.”

But now the cat’s out of the bag and while Ashley is eating fruit “like a woman obsessed,” Jenna told OK! she’s partial to donuts. And hubby Bodhi is helping her with other pregnancy cravings.

“He is a total dream. Before bed sometimes, or in the middle of the night, I’ll be like, ‘I need orange juice!” so he’ll go get it,” Jenna reveals.

Life is imitating art for Jenna, as her Accidentally character’s pregnancy will mirror her own: “the first season will end in the birth, and that’s how it will be for me, too.”
