Mo'Nique's brother appeared on the The Oprah Winfrey Show to publicly apologize to his sister for molesting her when they were children.

Gerald Imes admitted to Oprah Winfrey on Monday that he was 13 years old when he molested his then 7- or 8-year-old sister, the Associated Press reports.
The Oscar winner's brother said he decided to appear on the show to apologize to Mo'Nique and "bring back some family unity."
