Muppets fans' pleas have been answered… sort of. Fans have been clamoring for their furry friends to perform and even host the Academy Awards.
Although that isn't happening, two of the most famous Muppets will be presenting at the awards ceremony. Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will be presenting an award together, where their song "Man or Muppet" is nominated for Best Original Song.

The two join a growing list of celebrities including Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone, who will present.
Another addition made to the ceremony is that Cirque du Soleil will perform led by Oscar nominee Danny Elfman.
