While baseball parks Coors Field in Denver and Fenway Park in Boston are prepping to host bleacher full of fans for the World Series, Qualcomm Stadium, home of the San Diego Padres, is housing 10,000 evacuees. The Chargers, who also play at Qualcomm have moved their scheduled home game to Arizona!
It’s being reported that more than 500,000 people have been evacuated from homes in San Diego and Malibu where the California wildfires continue to burn out of control. A devastating natural disaster that even celebrities fame and fortune can’t protect them from, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s B&B was evacuated and stars such as Tom Hanks, Mel Gibson, Kelsey Grammar, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox and David Arquette are listed among evacuees. Even more unlucky, Sean Penn’s Malibu ranch was reportedly a casualty of the fire. The “Into the Wild” director also lost a home in the 2003 Malibu fire.
