Hollywood royalty joined actual royalty this past weekend at the Montblanc Princess Grace Collection launch in Monaco where Naomi Watts, Natalie Imbruglia, Olivia Palermo, Rufus Wainwright and Daryl Hannah mingled with Monaco’s Prince Albert and his new wife, Princess Charlene to honor Grace Kelly.
“She was always elegant, classic, understated but beautiful but not unreal,” Naomi tells OK!. “You feel like you could always relate to her because of the way she looked. It was never intimidating. I think that’s why most women related to her or were inspired by her because she doesn’t feel unreal.”
While Kate Middleton’s rise from a school girl to a princess or Kim Kardashian’s “fairytale” wedding are today’s royalty, Grace’s real-life Hollywood story of an Academy Award-winning actress who became a princess still resonates with many actresses.
“Grace Kelly was one of my favorite actresses of all time and she is part of what inspired me to be in the movies,” Daryl tells OK!. “The fact that she was such a big supporter of arts and culture and the Princess Grace Foundation honors that tradition is really beautiful.

To honor Grace, Montblanc designed a limited edition collection of jewelry, pens and watches and donated a million dollars to the Princess Grace Foundation, which supports the arts.
“The collection is beautiful,” Olivia gushed to OK! at the event. “I love her classic and timeless elegance!”
