NEWSNe-Yo "Definitely" Dropping an Album This Year

Ne-Yo may have pursued other interests last year, but this year he's going to be all about the music! As part of OK!'s Grammy Celebration, Ne-Yo shares exclusively with OK! his plans for his next album!
While we've enjoyed seeing Ne-Yo work on other projects like making movies, we're glad to hear he's not going to stop his music career! After all, he has written some of our favorite love songs!
"I'm definitely putting out an album this year," he tells OK! "I didn’t put out one last year because I was doing other things. It’s rare that you tell yourself at the start of the year you're going to do something and then follow through, but that’s just human nature."

"I thought about a lot of stuff I said," Ne-Yo explains. "I was going to focus on movies, and trying to do something else."

And he did just that!
"I wound up doing two movies last year and of course didn’t have enough time to put out an album," Ne-Yo says adding that it is actually good. "Now I have more time and can probably put an album out in August."
We're looking forward to August!
