Amy Winehouse fans are in for an emotional treat. Two tracks have been released from the singer's posthumous third album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures.
Amy tragically passed away at the age of 27 at her London home on July 23. The late singer reportedly had over five times the legal driving limit of alcohol in her system when she died.
OK! NEWS: NEW AMY WINEHOUSE ALBUM SET FOR DECEMBER RELEASE
Her album won't be released until Dec. 6, but listeners will have a lot to look forward to judging by the two leaked tracks.
The first song, “Our Day Will Come,” is a reggae cover of the classic ’60s song by Ruby & The Romantics, which Amy recorded back in May 2002, Celebuzz reports.
The second, “Like Smoke,” features a collaboration with rapper Nas.
She recorded "Like Smoke" in 2008, but it seems to really apply to the state of affairs today, as the lyrics mention “protesting at Wall Street” and the “bourgeoisie."
Both tracks prove Amy's soulful, jazzy vocals will live on forever and still have the power to move listeners.
