Nicole Scherzinger was just as shocked as us when she found out she would no longer be a part of The X Factor family. But, the singer says she has "no regrets" and is looking forward to her future.

Nicole, fellow mentor Paula Abdul and host Steve Jones were let go of Simon Cowell's talent competition after a debut season of ups and downs. And although Nicole admits she gave the show all of her time and energy, she realizes this is the way television works.

“I had a wonderful experience on the show,” Nicole explains. “I loved being a part of my X Factor family. Nothing could obviously prepare me for everything I had to go through, all the emotions and stuff, but I have no regrets. I’ve always believed in never looking back and just moving forward and I’ve got an amazing year to look forward to.”
