Robert Pattinson got a new puppy and while Nikki Reed already knew about it, she was shocked that everyone else does. But Twilight news travels fast and now she may have made this one travel even faster — by accidentally saying "they" got a dog.

OK! caught up with Nikki at the launch of UK Style by French Connection at the Lexington Social House Hollywood on Wednesday and asked her about Rob's new dog!
"How’d you know that?" she asked in surprise.
But Nikki revealed she has met the dog on the set of Breaking Dawn.
"Yes, I have! It's just so weird to me, I don’t mean to say this to you, but it's just sort of gross. I mean that’s just such a question when he got the dog like 72 hours ago!" she said with a laugh.
But hasn't he had it longer than that?
"Yes, it was like two weeks ago," she admitted. "But the dog is super cute and it looks like a miniature version of my dog."

And then here's where Nikki may have slipped!
"I didn’t even know that they got a dog, but when I came to set I saw the dog and they all said that it was a version of mine!" she said.
Wait, THEY got a dog? Who is they?
"Oh, no it’s Rob’s dog, it’s just that it becomes a community dog on set," Nikki recovered. "All of our animals do."
