Although Sandra Bullock and Jesse James' marriage is going through tough times in light of various alleged infidelities on his part, a source tells OK! Sandy's relationship with her stepchildren won't suffer, especially with Jesse's daughter Sunny.

"Jesse told her he's going to make sure she sees Sunny as often as she'd like when he has her," an insider reveals to OK!. "She's spoken to her and the other kids and has said she's not going to lose those kids."

Jesse is doing his part to explain to his daughter what's going on between him and Sandra.

"He told Sunny that he made some mistakes that really hurt Sandra's feelings and made it impossible to trust him right now, so she went away to try to not be so angry," explains the source, adding that Jesse has assured his daughter that Sandy loves her and will call her everyday, a promise she's been following through on.
