So juicing is all the rage these days among celebrities! If they're not pictured coming out of Pressed Juicery's various stores they're certainly receiving deliveries of the delicious beverages to their home.
Stars like Jennifer Garner, Nicole Richie, Zooey Deschanel and Gwen Stefani can't stop gushing about the drinks which you can also do as a six-juices-a-day cleanse.
Over the weekend I tried it out to see what the fuss is about… seriously? Only consuming juices all day? What about my usual Sunday brunch? But I have to say it was totally worth it and I surprising didn't feel hungry at all and it gave me a ton of energy.
I received a box each morning with the half-dozen juices and they were numbered to let me know which order I had to drink them in.

And it also had a tip sheet on how to make the best out of the cleanse which was really helpful.
I started with the Greens drink which had extracts from kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple and lemon and it was delicious!
Two hours later I was treated to the Citrus drink which consisted of pineapple, apple, lemon and mint. Like a non-alcoholic tropical cocktail.
Around lunchtime a hearty Roots drink was refreshing and had a kick to it with the ginger that was added to the beet, apple and lemon mixture.

Another Citrus drink came later with cucumber, pineapple, lemon, coconut h20 and aloe vera.
The fifth drink was another Greens but they really did save the best until last. The Almond Milk. It may sound simple; almonds, dates, vanilla bean, sea salt and filtered water. But honestly it is amazing and it really was a party in my mouth. Creamy deliciousness to round out the day and it honestly tasted like liquid desert. I could very easily get addicted to it.
The juices are a really simple way to get all the nutrients your body needs in a delicious little bottle—and well, if it's good enough for all the celebrity followers then it's good enough for me.
And now my new found love for Pressed Juicery is being combined with one of my favorite cities.
They've just joined up with Kimpton's Hotel Palomar in San Francisco to offer the first ever juice cleanse travel experience.
It's perfect for business and pleasure travelers to give their system a reboot while they're on the road.
You can either do a 1 Day/1 Night Cleanse or a 3 Day/2 Night Cleanse, "Pressed, Pampered & Purified."
Having started as a juicing virgin, I'm not totally hooked and will be doing a cleanse every few weeks as well as enjoying the juices simply because they're delicious and good for me.
