Sometimes the movies you have barely heard of are the best ones. Case in point? Girl Most Likely, formerly known as Imogene, starring Kristen Wiig, Annette Bening, Matt Dillon and Glee's Darren Criss. Read our OK! or OMG!? movie review of this sweet tale that takes place in Jersey (represent!!!) and whether or not you should see it ASAP.

OK! News: 5 Movies We're Excited To See at Comic-Con

The story revolves around Imogene, played by Kristen Wiig. She's a struggling playwright who at the beginning of the movie gets dumped by her douchebag boyfriend and fired from her boring office job. And, after a faked suicide attempt which was basically a cry for attention from her ex,  she has to move in with her mom (played by Annette Bening) in Ocean City, NJ because she's pretty much out of options. You kind of feel bad for her, really.

Even though the movie technically takes place in present day, you feel like you're watching a 90's film. All of Imogene's clothes are taken from her teenage closet since all of her real-life possessions are left in the NYC apartment she shared with her ex. It's pretty amusing.

And speaking of the 90's, there are two cameos from two amazing 90's stars in the film that are short but oh-so-sweet. We won't tell you who though, but here's a hint: One of them is in 10 Things I Hate About You! Oh, and many of the songs in the film are from artists from New Jersey like Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi, so that's great:

But you're probably wondering how Darren Criss comes into the picture, right? He plays Lee, a guy who's renting out Imogene's room at her mother's house. He's a struggling musician, and the best moment of the entire movie is when he sings "Everybody" by the Backstreet Boys as part of a 90's cover band that performs in Atlantic City. Also, Darren looks really great in eyeliner and also is really great in a boy band. Why can't he do both of those things on Glee?!

But that's it, no more hints. But what we will say is that like The Way Way Back did, this movie will make you want to go to the beach. It just reminds you of how fun and carefree life is in beach towns and you'll want to go to one ASAP.

The only negative thing about the film is that it's probably not as funny as you expect it to be. Automatically you think Kristen Wiig, OMG, hilarious! But you won't be getting any funny one-liners from this one like you did in Bridesmaids. But that's not the point of this movie and regardless, Kristen Wiig is funny without even trying and you'll laugh at just her mannerisms and expressions and all those other things we love about her.

OK! or OMG?!: It's OMG, for sure. Because it's more than just a film about a 30-something whose life falls apart and has to build it back up. And Darren Criss! Darren Criss is everything in this film and also in life.
