For those of you who can't make it out to NYC for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week this year, OK!’s got you covered! Yesterday, we checked out Cynthia Rowley’s runway show, featuring spring looks for the uptown girl.

SHOW: Cynthia Rowley

WHEN: February 11, 2011

OK!'S NYC FASHION WEEK BLOG: JILL STUART

WHO: Lauren Bush, Julia Stiles, Nigel Barker, and Alan Cumming

FASHION: Cynthia's uptown girls showed off a muted palette of moss, mustard, teal, grey and black. Silhouettes were a mix of slim pencil skirts and voluminous tunics, offering a range of textures, from slinky silks and lurex knits to rich velvets and sheared faux fur. Accessories were key and included big retro cats-eye sunglasses, long sheer gloves and satin with rabbit fur scarves. Proving she's dressing her girls from head to toe, Cynthia also sent out models wearing pale-pink vintage-inspired silk lingerie to criss-cross the back of the stage.

BEAUTY: Smoky eyes and nude lips by Charlotte Willer for Maybelline New York complemented fly-away backcombed chignons adorned with geometric clips for an effortless just-out-bed vibe.

COLOR/OVERHEARD: Lauren Bush told OK! Cynthia's show was her first fashion week event. Despite being a pal of the designer, Lauren broke the old rule of wearing one of the designer's own creations to the show, instead sporting a blue tunic dress she designed herself. "I sourced this silk myself in Cambodia," she told OK! Of her own ethically-sourced silk arm band detail. Keen to promote fashion with a social conscience, Lauren also carried a special-edition red FEED bag - out in time for Valentine's Day - which she showed off to Julia Stiles who was seated next to her.
