FASHION: Lela Rose’s spring 2012 collection was defined by electric accents. Lela herself notes the “unrestored and broken signs that dot the landscape of Las Vegas and Coney Island” as a major inspiration for her latest creations. Tangerine, neon yellow and electric navy played major parts in the palette of the collection. Nothing was off-limits for Lela Rose’s exciting new looks, including bustiers, ball skirts and metallic touches!
BEAUTY: Models sported hair with side parts that were twisted to the side. With such simple and elegant hair do’s, all eyes were focused on the fashion! Metallic eye shadow and pink lips added to the models’ look.

COLOR/OVERHEARD: Singer/actress Mandy Moore was the first celebrity to arrive to her front row seats. She took the time to chat with OK! about fashion, marriage and her next career move. When asked to describe her personal style, Mandy said, “Casual, feminine, and hopefully sort of effortless. Polished as well.”

In addition to her wardrobe, Mandy also told OK! how her marriage to singer-songwriter is shining brighter than ever. “Life is great!” Mandy exclaimed. So what’s next in the pipeline for Ms. Moore? “I’m writing a record,” she reveals. Expect to hear new tracks in 2012.

Hollywood newbie AnnaSophia Robb was also in attendance at the Lela Rose show. When OK! talked to the Soul Surfer actress, she explained what it’s like being a rookie at Fashion Week. “I’m so new to this whole world. It’s just amazing how fashion is art on the body. I think it’s beautiful. That’s why I’m here! To learn.”
Not only is AnnaSophia trying to up her fashion knowledge, the high school senior is in the process of filling out college applications. So what school does she have her eyes set on? “I have a couple of top picks. I am making sure to stay away from a big city.”
More celebrities in attendance were One Tree Hill beauty Shantel Vansanton, Mariska Hargitay and Susan Sarandon.
