Tennis champ Venus Williams certainly knows how to win a match, but when the doubles gold medal winner designs her fashion line, she relies on an old pal to get by.

Venus revealed to Departures magazine that she uses Hello Kitty sketch pads to jot down sketches.
“I have a soft spot for all things Hello Kitty, and the notebooks are my sketch pads.”
