Producers of Water for Elephants posted an ad on Craiglist in L.A. looking for extras for the film.
Casting takes place April 17, so book your flights right now if you're not already there!

Water for Elephants is based on the historical novel by Sara Gruen which tells the story of Jacob Jankowski's childhood memories, MTV's Hollywoodcrush reports. When he was 23 studying at Cornell University he got news that his parents had been killed in a car accident.
He then leaves school to join the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth and views how poorly the animals are treated by the head trainer August, to be played by Christoph Waltz. Jacob, a virgin, also falls in love with August's wife Marlena, to be played by Reese Witherspoon.

Water for Elephants' Twitter verfied the Craiglist ad which asks for:
• Caucasian men with very 1930s looking period faces.
• African American men with short 1930s period haircuts, all size 46 coat or smaller.
• Caucasian women with shoulder length hair or shorter, size 6 or smaller.
It also specifies, "No piercings, tattoos, no breast implants, no artificial nails, no highlighted or colored hair (natural looking color is okay)."
