Oprah Winfrey Brings Rosie O'Donnell Back to Daytime TV

When it comes to TV, Rosie O'Donnell has nine lives! Her latest incarnation comes courtesy of Oprah Winfrey, who wants the comedian on her new OWN network.
The Emmy-winning face of The Rosie O'Donnell Show and controversial moderator of The View, can now add cable talk show host to her resume when OWN launches in January, reports E! Online.

"Rosie is an undeniable talent who has captivated TV audiences for nearly 20 years," Oprah said in a statement Thursday.

After three years away from daytime TV after leaving The View in a blaze of negative publicity in 2007, Rosie replied: "It's an honor and a privilege to work with Oprah Winfrey on her network. I'm excited to be back on daytime television."
