If Oprah Winfrey can’t do it no one can -- her endorsements turn to immediate success, her words of wisdom captivate millions, and her support helped elect America's first African-American President, Barack Obama. But now it seems Oprah's throwing in the political towel.
According to the Associated Press, after achieving what few could in several lifetimes in the political arena, Oprah has decided to quit while she’s ahead and take a spectator seat with regard to politics.

"My job was to make people, or allow people, to be introduced to Obama, who might not have been, at the time," she said. "I wanted him elected, and I think I did that.”
While Oprah remains an avid Obama supporter, she intends to refrain from commenting on the current political situation.
