Oscars 2010: A Look Back at Hollywood's Biggest Night
March 8 2010, Published 6:54 a.m. ET
What a golden night in Tinseltown! A-listers were out in full force and all a flutter for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. The theme of the evening — true Hollywood glamour. From a great opening musical number by Neil Patrick Harris to Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin's hilarious co-hosting spot, the night seemed to go off without a hitch!
The major upset of the night — The Hurt Locker beating out Avatar for Best Picture. It was a battle of the exes between Kathryn Bigelow and James Cameron.
Kathryn reigned victorious, the first female director to win an Oscar. It was a ladies night!
Sandra Bullock won for Best Actress, delivering a heartfelt speech.
