Could it possibly be that the voice of Kung Fu Panda 2 is actually afraid of baby pandas? On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jack Black recalled being psyched to meet a baby panda, that is, until the veterinarian mentioned a scar on her face!

According to PopEater, Jack told Jay at first he was excited to hold a panda for the very first time. "I've heard stories that if you hold a baby panda in your arms that you achieve inner peace." He added, "So I was pretty psyched about it."

So psyched, in fact, that he was ready to snuggle the cuddly panda! And then, he remembered they're bears. The veterinarian first told the actor that pandas don't like to be touched and to make matters worse, she also showed him a scar on her face! He noted their conversation: "Do you see this scar here? They have claws, very sharp claws. They're bears!"

Unfortunately for Jack, cameras were rolling. Being the funny guy that he is, Jack took it all in stride and with his huge sense of humor. "They were capturing the event: 'Jack Black meets a panda' but I was so scared after her bear story so instead of being this cool promotional opportunity it turned out being this thing, 'Jack Black is a coward.' "

Kind of ironic, no?
