While Paris Hilton said last week that she and Benji Madden were "just taking a break," boths sides seem to be very focused on distracting themselves from the split, showing up out and about without each other.

The Good Charlotte rocker was spotted last night at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, hanging out in Wasted Space with buddy Carey Hart and taking over the DJ booth to entertain for about an hour. The group eventually headed over to Body English and partied into the wee hours.

As for Paris, who claims that she and Benji remain good friends, saying, "We will see what happens in the future. I am still in love with him," the celubtante spent a night on the town in Hollywood at The Kress with sister Nicky Hilton.
According to a source, the two Hiltonsshowed up for a birthday party, and Paris seemed to be more than happy, dancing, drinking Champagne and talking to men.
