Leslie Mann is one of the funniest ladies in Hollywood, but it looks like she won't be using her comedic chops on Fox's New Girl.
The Knocked Up actress was scheduled to appear on the Sept. 25 season premiere as a "shot girl" working a party thrown for Schmidt (Max Greenfield) to celebrate the removal of his penis cast.

The network, however, has confirmed that Parker Posey will now take the role.
E! News caught up with Leslie recently, and she said the reason for the casting switch is because she's too busy to take on another project. "I'm not going to do it, I'm not available anymore!"

And she's rather upset she can't do the show because she loves the character Schmidt. "I love him so much," she says. "I love Schmidt. I'm bummed."
