Party Down South: Daddy Shares the Most Valuable Lesson He's Learned This Season
Aug. 7 2014, Published 3:48 p.m. ET
Sometimes there's such a thing as getting too close to your roommate, and no one learned that lesson better than Daddy on this season of Party Down South. Now that the drama has died down, OK! caught up with the cast on a press trip to Los Angeles where Daddy explained he's in a much better place and why that Cabo trip was a necessary break from the house.

OK!: What was different for you about filming season two of Party Down South?
Daddy: In season one we were just getting to know each other so it was kind of like when I met all of these unfiltered personalities it was like, “Oh my God, this guy is crazy.” It was the first time I ever met people as wild as me. In that sense it was cool. We all got to know each other and laughed at each others' stupidity. Season two we all knew each other so that’s when the fighting started.
OK!: Was there something you learned about your roommates during season two that you didn’t realize season one?
Daddy: Yeah, I learned a very valuable lesson in season two—do not bang your roommates.
OK!: Is the dynamic in the house back to normal?
Daddy: I’m actually loving being here in LA right now because I feel like everybody being back together is…I was kind of worried about it at first but I feel like everything is back to normal.

OK!: Everyone’s friends again?
Daddy: Yeah, everyone’s friends. Nobody’s gonna get choked out today. It’s gonna be a great day.
OK!: We saw a bit of angrier side to you this season, have you let all of that stuff go?
Daddy: Oh yeah, I mean I let most of it go when I broke the bookshelf and damn near broke my neck.
OK!: Where would you want to see the show film for season three?
Daddy: I would love to go back to Cabo San Lucas for season three and I would love to stay at the Wyndham Resort in Cabo San Lucas because they have the best fried fish I’ve ever had in my life.
OK!: How long were you guys in Cabo?
Daddy: We were in Cabo for probably two days. It was like a mini vacation on the vacation. We weren’t there long but the Cabo trip was much needed. It was like a breath of fresh air in the house. We were in Cabo and there was no fighting. It was all everybody just having fun. That house in Athens, let me tell you, the house the first season you could walk outside and there was water and scenery. In the house in Athens we were just surrounded by pine trees and we were all just on top of each other. That caused a lot of drama and a lot of fighting. Cabo was definitely good for us, good for the family.

OK!: Is it tough to get used to being at home after filming?
Daddy: Not really. In the beginning I thought it would be tough to go back after filming but, no, it’s kind of nice. You get back to your house and you just get to lay on the couch by yourself and watch TV. It helps you appreciate your alone time. Everything you do inside the house is recorded, unless you want to go to the bathroom by yourself. You’re still miked up but you’re not being recorded unless another person comes in the bathroom with you, then two’s a party and the cameras, of course, come in.
OK!: If you could invite any reality show cast to party with you guys, who would it be?
Daddy: I would just invite the Jersey Shore cast over. I love that show, man. I watched every episode. I thought Jersey Shore was hilarious.
